David Daly, Manager of Fiscal Policy,

Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers

 

David Daly is the Manager of Fiscal Policy with the Canadian
Association of Petroleum Producers and has been with the Association since 1999. David works directly with federal and provincial governments to promote competitive fiscal structures for the upstream oil and gas industry. This includes Crown royalty discussions with provincial Departments of Energy, income tax talks with both federal and provincial Departments of Finance and engaging provincial Municipal Affairs Departments on property tax policy.

Prior to CAPP, David held senior positions evaluating international
exploration and development opportunities, pursuing NGL and crude oil business development, and assessing and forecasting the businessenvironment for oil and gas with Petro-Canada from 1985 through 1998.

He holds a Masters degree in economics from McMaster University, and an MBA from McGill University.
